At SonShine Adventures, the water isn’t just where we work – it’s where our story began. Our love for the beautiful waterways of Pensacola and the Blackwater River has been a lifelong passion that we now share with others through unforgettable boat tours.
Gary grew up exploring the Santa Rosa and Escambia County waterways. He first introduced JoAnn to the incredible natural beauty of these local waters years ago. What began as a shared love for boating, sunsets, spotting wildlife and peaceful days on the river quickly became a way of life. Now after 25 years of marriage and countless hours spent exploring, we’ve turned that passion into a way to share these experiences with others.
SonShine Adventures offers small, personalized boat tours for up to six passengers, allowing guests to relax, explore and experience the waterways in a comfortable and intimate setting. We operate aboard a comfortable tritoon boat, designed to provide a smooth, relaxing ride while exploring some of the most beautiful waters on Florida’s Emerald Coast. We offer views that you simply can’t experience from land.
Gary and JoAnn are also members of The Blackwater Pyrates and spend time honoring their core missions of boater safety, maritime history, river cleanup and community service.
