We have been on a few dolphin tours while vacationing. This one by far was the best! I can’t put into words how much fun my family had. My kids were laughing and smiling the entire time! Definitely the highlight of our vacation. We got to see a lot of dolphins up close. Found a fun place to swim. Got to see sights we haven’t seen before. They made sure we were having a good time and safe while out on the water. Great conversation and so personable ! I highly recommend booking with them. You will have a fun adventure ! They were the best host we had. Showed us all around the beaches and waters, got rained on a little but still enjoyable experience. And of course we got to see some of the beautiful dolphins.

We had such an amazing experience on our boat trip! Getting to watch the Blue Angels from the water was absolutely incredible, and the crew went above and beyond to make the day even more special. They even helped my fiancé plan and pull off the perfect proposal! 💍❤️ Between seeing the Blue Angels and getting engaged, it was truly a day we will never forget. We are so thankful they were a part of such a special moment in our lives. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience on the water!

Gary (Captain Geezer) is the best blue angels tour guide money can buy. Amazing views from the island and learned so much from his past experience on the base. Bonus points for locating several pods of dolphins for us!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the Blackwater river tour with Captain Ken. He was very knowledgeable with the history of Blackwater river and its important ties to the lumber industry during late 1800’s-early 1900s. Also, he pointed out interesting facts of local river wildlife and their roles in the ecosystem, I would highly recommend.

The scenery was stunning, with gorgeous views around every turn, and seeing dolphins in their natural habitat was truly unforgettable. The hospitality and professionalism of the crew were unmatched. They were friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, and made everyone feel welcome throughout the entire trip. Their passion for what they do was evident and made the experience even more enjoyable. What a great trip! The captain and crew were very informative and personable, answering any questions we had about our cruise. The sunset views were amazing and picture perfect.We had a wonderful time and hope to do this again with family.

Absolutely the best experience while vacationing in Pensecola!! Capt Jo & Capt Geezer made this such a memorable event for my daughters and I. They went out of their way to ensure we saw dolphins and not only did we see dolphins we saw sea turtles as well. This wasnt just, get on a boat and ride around, they took us to a location where we went on land so my daughter could search for sea shells and hermit crabs. The cost is higher than the other dolphin tour options but this is not the same!! There was another group with us on vacation and they didnt see any dolphins with the option they decided to go with. We saw atleast 15 dolphins and Capt Geezer was able to get us up close enough to see the tiny babies in the group. They even made a quick stop to grab some trash that was floating by, which my daughter loved "because thats not good for sea animals". If you want a great personal style experience go with Sonshine Adventures, you will not be disappointed. Sure, they cant control nature but they will do everything in their power, plus a little praying, to make sure you have the absolute best experience possible. I wish I could give them 100 stars!! Thanks again Captains!!!

Gary and JoAnne are locals and know the area water better than anyone. They are professional, safe and super fun. We will be recommending them to friends and family in the Pensacola area.

Our boating trips go back a year or two and we have enjoyed both river and bay . They are very knowledgeable in the history of the area and will definitely show you some beautiful scenery. I would highly recommend booking a tour for either one , you won't be disappointed.

Family of three here, we booked a two hour cruise and it was amazing. The owners were so friendly, the boat was so comfy, lots of dolphins and smiles. We’ll definitely book another tour with them when we come back!

My husband & I took an evening cruise with some friends, in Milton on the Blackwater River. It was so relaxing & we really enjoyed the information about the river & all the history surrounding the city! JoAnn & Gary are the perfect hosts! And as a PS for those who get sea sick, thats not an issue on the river here.

Lovely sunset cruise on the Blackwater. Capt Gary and Capt Jo showed us the river and pointed out many historical features. Saw many Osprey nests with young birds inside. Truly an enjoyable evening!

We took a party os six on the river cruise. It was a beautiful. wonderful, peaceful trip. Gary's knowledge of the area made it iinteresting, especially as they pointed out the Egrets sitting on their nests. I recommend this adventure highly.

Phenomenal. Courteous, casual, friendly. Don’t be fooled. While you’re enjoying the Captains’ knowledge of River history and the beautiful scenery, he’s got his eye on navigation and safety. What an experience! We were blown away by the scenery and the boat is VERY comfortable. We even saw a dolphin at the Milton train bridge! BONUS!! This might be the best family and/or “Date night”activity in Milton. Highly recommend! Pricing is SUPER reasonable for what we got!!

We went out on this cruise. The team was very professional very knowledgeable. Just felt very safe and comfortable while out.
