Cancellation & Refund Policy

SonShine Adventures Cancellation & Refund Policy

We understand that plans can change, and we try to be fair to both our guests and our small business. When you book a private charter, that time is reserved exclusively for your group.

Cancellation by Guest

  • 7 days or more before your trip: Full refund
  • 3–6 days before your trip: 50% refund
  • Less than 72 hours before your trip: No refund
  • No-shows: Non-refundable

Cancellations must be made by phone, text, or email.

Weather Policy

Your safety is our top priority.

  • If the Captain cancels due to unsafe weather, mechanical issues, or safety concerns, you will receive:
    • full refund, or
    • The option to reschedule your trip
  • Light rain or cloudy weather does not automatically cancel a trip.

Weather decisions are made by the Captain on the day of the trip.

Rescheduling

  • Trips may be rescheduled once at no charge if requested at least 72 hours in advance
  • Rescheduling is subject to availability

Late Arrivals

  • Late arrival may shorten your trip time.
  • Significant delays may be considered a cancellation without refund.

Early Return / Seasickness / No Dolphins

  • Returning early by guest request does not qualify for a refund.
  • Seasickness does not qualify for a refund.
  • Dolphins and wildlife are wild animals and sightings are not guaranteed.

Payment Policy

  • A deposit or full payment is required to reserve your date.
  • By booking with SonShine Adventures, you agree to this cancellation policy.
